AGS is a sole proprietorship.  The Business main office is located in Oakland and was established on September 30, 1994. 

Mr. Henderson has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry.  He possess certification from the Neighborhood Reinvestment Training Institute of Chicago, Illinois, in construction rehabilitation management, legal issues in construction rehabilitation, technical, financial and managerial issues in residential construction, environmental issues, conflict management and intro to mechanical inspections.  

From 1979 to 1985, he worked for various construction companies through the local Union.  From 1985 to 1992, he worked as a rehabilitation specialist/construction manager for Oakland Neighborhood Housing Services Inc.  Here, Mr. Henderson provided rehabilitation services to participating neighborhood home owners and contracted construction crews and other expertise.  Inspected and appraised house and advised homeowners of improvement recommendations.  Prepared work write-ups, cost estimates, construction specifications, bids, contracts, and pay-outs.  Developed construction schedules and materials order systems.  Supervised "Owner-Built Housing" construction project and attended weekly meetings with 'homeowners' associations.  Handled all phases of acquiring permits, code inspections, contractor agreements, notice of completion, record keeping activities, and other written and oral reports. 

Assisted Director in total program operation and supervised program operations in Director's absence.  Liaison and representative at various meetings with city officials, community groups and agency committees.

 Today AGS has over 150 years of combined experience from its highly skilled tradesmen.
